Four great Valentine’s cocktails

From a fruity San Francisco to strawberry vodka Mootini, these luscious Valentine’s cocktails are the perfect way to set the mood on February 14, says Dan Cooper

Raspberry Clover Club Valentine's Cocktail by Warner Edwards

Warner Edwards’ Clover Club
60ml Warner Edwards Harringtons Dry Gin
1 egg white
6 raspberries
30ml lemon juice
15ml sugar syrup
1 mint sprig

Shake all ingredients hard and double strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with raspberry and mint for perfect serve.

The San Francisco Valentine's Day Cocktail by Martin Miller Gin

Martin Miller’s The San Francisco
50ml Martin Miller’s Gin
15ml lemon juice
15ml sugar syrup
12 blueberries
6 tarragon leaves
3 blueberries and 2 tarragon leaves for garnish

Shake all ingredients together, apart from your garnish, and strain into a tall glass filled with rocks of ice. Garnish drink with remaining blueberries and tarragon leaves.

Black Cow’s River Cottage Pink Mootini
50ml Black Cow vodka
25ml Strawberry vermouth

Chill vodka in the freezer for three to four hours, then add both ingredients to a frozen martini glass.

The Unholy Alliance Valentine's Cocktail from Spice Tree

Spice Tree’s The Unholy Alliance
50ml Spice Tree whisky
25ml red vermouth
25ml Campari
1 orange

Pour spirits over a few cubes of ice into a coupe or cobbler glass. Garnish with twisted orange zest.
