London Fashion Week saw the most romantic collection to date from Alexander McQueen, while Mulberry returned to the catwalk with a new It Bag, the Clifton. We’ve rounded up the best of British runway style, from embellishment, ruffles and embroidery, to oversized coats and military jackets
A patchwork of patterns and textures drawing on creative director, Christopher Bailey’s, love of “musical references”, from Seventies glam-rock shiny metallic lamés and lurex tops to bright sequinned floral mini-dresses and snakeskin detailed outerwear. Burberry
