Made by master craftspeople in white gloves – with insight from some of the world’s finest head butlers – the new Rolls-Royce luggage collection takes travel to a new realm of luxury
It is the ultimate in luxury conveyance – luggage that not only expresses your sense of style and acts as a wardrobe from home, but has been designed to complement the interior of your car. This is what the design team at Rolls-Royce have achieved with their new Wraith Luggage Collection, created to harmonise with the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever created.
Conceived by Rolls-Royce Bespoke Designer Michael Bryden and led by Director of Design Giles Taylor, the collection comprises two Grand Tourer valises, three Long Weekender bags and one garment Carrier to encompass a gentleman’s shirt and tuxedo or a ladies gown. To ensure that no stone was left unturned in the pursuit of perfection, the design team called on the expertise of head butlers from some of the world’s most illustrious hotels, who offered an insight into the interaction between guests and their belongings.
And the result is handles that have been designed to ensure an even weight distribution, meaning no undue pressure is placed on the hand; an invisible stitch, a skill honed in the world of Haute Couture and used on the steering wheel of Wraith, applied to ensure a tactile finish; and leather that is lined with a monogrammed lining discreetly featuring the Rolls-Royce emblem. And as any discerning traveller will tell you, it doesn’t get better than that.
The Wraith Luggage Collection is available from Rolls-Royce Dealerships. The pieces can be bought individually; for the six piece Wraith Luggage Collection (excluding local taxes) pricing is £24,248
