Shun the snowball this Christmas and break out something a bit more alluring instead with these six delicious festive gin cocktail recipes, laden with sophisticated botanicals and aromas
Williams Chase’s Hot Apple Punch
35ml Williams Chase Elegant Gin
150ml cloudy apple juice
2 teaspoons caster sugar
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 dash lemon juice
1 star anise
In a saucepan, gently heat cloudy apple juice, lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon. Once warm, pour into a stemmed glass and add 35ml Williams Chase Elegant Gin. Lastly, stir and then garnish with a star anise.

Martin Miller’s festive G&T with orange and cinnamon
50ml Martin Miller’s Gin
200ml Fever-Tree tonic water
1 large orange
1 stick of cinnamon
Fill a tall glass with ice and add crushed cinnamon stick. Add 50ml of Martin Miller’s Gin, two wedges of orange and top up with Fever-Tree tonic water before stirring.

Greenall’s Negroni
20ml Greenall’s The Original London Dry Gin
20ml Campari Bitter
20ml Martini Rosso
1 large orange
Pour each ingredient into an ice-filled tumbler and stir. Garnish with an orange twist.

Berkeley Square Gin Martinez
50ml Berkeley Square Gin
20ml Martini Rosso
5ml Maraschino Liqueur
1 dash Angostura Bitters
1 lemon
Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass with plenty of ice. Stir well and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin & Ginger
50ml Ophir Oriental Spiced Gin
200ml Ginger Ale
1 lime
Add ice and Ophir Oriental Spiced Gin to a tall glass. Top up with Fever-Tree premium ginger ale and garnish with a wedge of lime.

Sloe BLOOM Gin Fizz
50ml Sloe BLOOM Gin
150ml Bisol Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Cartizze
Pour the Sloe BLOOM Gin into a chilled champagne glass and top up with Bisol Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Cartizze.
